"If you know someone who has lost a child or anybody who's important to them, and you're afraid to mention them because you think you might make them sad by reminding them that they died, they didn't forget they died. You're not reminding them. What you're reminding them of is that you remembered that they lived, and that's a great, great gift" - Elizabeth Edwards

"The deep hurt is the mirror image of the deep joy that still awaits you." - Bruce C. Hafen

St Patrick’s day!

We had a fun St Patrick’s day. Another mom in the neighborhood put together a leprechaun scavenger hunt for all the kids. The kids loved it! A ton of families in the neighborhood attended. The weather was really nice too.

Pi day

On Pi day I took the kids to farm country for some pony rides. After we met up Eric for lunch at Blaze pizza. Each pizza was only 3 dollars each because of pi day. Yum!IMG_3816 (1280x1280)

A friend in the neighborhood started selling MaskCara make up and asked if anyone wanted to have a make over so that she could post a before and after picture. Lots of us went. It was fun. Here are my pics!

A few weeks ago Eric and I went out to eat at the Mexican restaurant called La Hacienda. The food was delicious. Then we also stopped at IKEA to get some Swedish candy. Yum!

Nicci made this for me haha

Fun at Thanksgiving point!

A few weekends ago, we went to “farm country” at Thanksgiving point. The kids loved riding on the ponies and look at all the other animals. Poor Savannah put her finger into one of the chicken pens and a hen bit her finger. She was sad for a while. 🙁 We also went on a tractor ride. Tyler loved this! We will definitely go back again soon!

Blue and Gold Scout Banquet

We attended Lionel’s first cub scout blue and gold banquet. The theme was “passports around the world.” A few weeks earlier they asked me if I could share a little but about Sweden. It was fun! We had lots of pizza and all the boys had decorated their own cake for dessert. Lionel is so cute in his scout outfit! He loves going to scouts every week!

Valentine’s Day!

Here are some pictures from our Valentine’s day. The kids made their own valentine’s boxes to take to school. I wish I had a picture of the boxes. They love to craft. During the day while the three older kids were at school, I hung out with friends. The kids got to decorate cookies and we also went to Kangaroo zoo. At night we went to watch the new Lego movie. The kids loved it!
