"If you know someone who has lost a child or anybody who's important to them, and you're afraid to mention them because you think you might make them sad by reminding them that they died, they didn't forget they died. You're not reminding them. What you're reminding them of is that you remembered that they lived, and that's a great, great gift" - Elizabeth Edwards

"The deep hurt is the mirror image of the deep joy that still awaits you." - Bruce C. Hafen

I love going to zumba twice a week. We are a big group of women doing it and its so fun. The instructors are awesome and they make it so fun. I just hope I will learn all the moves soon so I can stop looking kind of ridicoulus! 🙂

Lord of the Rings

Eric and I have watched all three movies this last week. They are so great. We are getting very excited to get to watch the Hobbit soon!

One year ago

On December 26th last year, we found out we were expecting Savannah. Like my mother in law said, “What a joy and beam of sunshine she has been for our family!!”

4 Months

Savannah turned 4 months yesterday. She had her well baby check up today. She weighs 14 lbs 10 oz (75%) and is 26 inches tall (97%). Yesterday she tried solids for the first time. She seemed to like it. She is growing so fast!

Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas. The kids woke up around 7.30 and were so excited to see that Santa had come. They were very happy that he had eaten all the cookies and milk they had put out for him too. They love all their presents and played all day. We had some yummy crepes for breakfast with Nutella and whipped cream. At 4 pm we headed over to Eric and Laura’s house and had a nice Christmas dinner with some friends. Everything was delicious. Here are some pictures.

18 Months

Our precious Oliver would have been 18 months on December 14th. We miss you little Ollie.

Bye Bye

We had a fun 2 weeks with my sister! I’m so glad she could come and visit!

Jordan is 3!

Jordan turned 3 yesterday. He had a nice birthday. He was so excited to wake up and see snow outside. The kids really like to play the “fish game” that he got.

On Wednesday we woke up to snow. The kids had a lot of fun playing in it. Some big branches from our neighbors trees fell down and two phone lines too. We also lost the internet that day. Nicci was home from school and we made some ginger bread cookies. We also went to one of my friends house and did a craft and ate some yummy rice krispie treats. It was also Jordan’s third birthday and he was happy he got snow for his birthday.
