"If you know someone who has lost a child or anybody who's important to them, and you're afraid to mention them because you think you might make them sad by reminding them that they died, they didn't forget they died. You're not reminding them. What you're reminding them of is that you remembered that they lived, and that's a great, great gift" - Elizabeth Edwards

"The deep hurt is the mirror image of the deep joy that still awaits you." - Bruce C. Hafen

We had a nice and busy weekend. On Friday night Eric took the boys camping. They had a lot of fun. I wish Eric had taken some pictures, but he forgot. Nicolina, Savannah and I stayed home and had a girls night. On Saturday morning, Sarah came and took some pictures of Savannah. I’m excited to see how they turned out. Savannah was kind of fussy, so we will see. In the afternoon the kids went to a birthday party and in the evening I watched the General Relief Society broadcast. They had a dinner before the broadcast. I loved the curry, pumpkin soup they served. It was great. Today Eric blessed Savannah at church. I will post more about the blessing later. Sarah took a lot pictures that I will post when I get them.

Fun at the carnival

We decided to not go to the Puyallup fair this year, but we did go to a local carnival and let the kids go on some rides today.
