"If you know someone who has lost a child or anybody who's important to them, and you're afraid to mention them because you think you might make them sad by reminding them that they died, they didn't forget they died. You're not reminding them. What you're reminding them of is that you remembered that they lived, and that's a great, great gift" - Elizabeth Edwards

"The deep hurt is the mirror image of the deep joy that still awaits you." - Bruce C. Hafen

Going Home

This month has gone by so fast. I cant believe we are flying home tomorrow morning. I am going to miss everyone so much!

Feeding the Ducks

We had fun feeding some ducks earlier this week.

At first there were only a few ducks there

After a while a lot more came.

A Day in Stockholm

We had a really fun day in Stockholm yesterday. The kids had a great time at Junibacken. We met up with my brother later when we went shopping downtown. The kids got some ice cream and I bought some shirts for them.

Madde and her husband has a Grand Danoise named Doris. It was so fun to get to see her. She is such a nice dog.

Pics From Saturday

My little man…

Today I was feeling Oliver’s loss more than usual after going through some pictures the photographer took of the little guy.  Life is so unfair to take from you your child… God bless you Oliver wherever you are and whatever you’re doing! We love you!

Some pictures from when we went to Hemlingby.

We went on a trail that had different wooden animals for the kids to see.

It´s been 3 Months…

..since I held my sweet baby Oliver in my arms… I miss him all the time…

S. Michael Wilcox, who wrote When Your Prayers Seem Unanswered, said

“One day, no matter what reason we may have for unhappiness; whatever trial we may face, have faced, or are then facing; one day they will all come to an end. “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” (Revelation 21:4). The tears will be wiped away. That end we may hope for. That end we may be assured of. In the meantime we may know that whatever happens he is going to turn it into good for us. Let the mountain waves crash. Life will be sweet eventually.”

Bruce R.McConkie said,

We may rest assured that all things are controlled and governed by Him whose spirit children we are. He knows all things from the beginning to the end and he provides for each of us the testings and trials which he knows we need. President Joseph Fielding Smith once told me that we must assume that the Lord knows and arranges beforehand who shall die in infancy and who shall remain on earth to undergo whatever tests are needed in their cases. This accords with Joseph Smith’s statement: “The Lord takes many away, even in infancy, that they may escape the envy of man, and the sorrows and evils of this present world; they were too pure, too lovely, to live on earth.”
