"If you know someone who has lost a child or anybody who's important to them, and you're afraid to mention them because you think you might make them sad by reminding them that they died, they didn't forget they died. You're not reminding them. What you're reminding them of is that you remembered that they lived, and that's a great, great gift" - Elizabeth Edwards

Such a Cutie!

My parents bought a puppy! She so adorable! They will get her in the end of October. I so wish I could be home in Sweden then and hug this little cutie. I’m so happy for them!
Eric and I are going to get our own dog one day…it will just be easier for us and the dog if we live in our own house. Plus the fact that they don’t allow dogs in the apartment complex we live in right now. Otherwise we would have one right now…So sometime in the future!

Paladin Picnic!

Today was a fun day. In the morning we went to Target and found a very cute coat for Nicci. Now she will be warm this fall and winter.

In the afternoon the company Eric works for had a party. I got to meet some of Eric’s co-workers and his boss. They had some yummy food, a carriage ride, and all the children got their own cowboy hat. Nicci had a lot of energy and Eric chased after her almost the whole time. She had fun though.

And Just For Fun…

I decided to make Nicci in to a cartoon.  This was actually another photo of Nicci wearing this t-shirt.  All I did was remove the rest of the picture, thin down her neck, and stick her in the middle of a photo of the Puyallup fair.  Just thought I would share this for laughs!

Baby Shower and Nicci Pics!

Today one of my friends threw me a baby shower. It was a lot of fun! A lot of people came and they made me feel so loved. I got a lot of nice things for the baby. We don’t need to buy anything else besides diapers now. I am so grateful for friends and family. Here is a picture of all the things I got. Thank you!! Lionel is a lucky kid!

Nicci got a cute t-shirt today. Her grandma and grandpa bought it at the Puyallup Fair! She is SO cute in it!! Thanks!!

And I just have to end with this cute picture of Nicci.

Nicolina’s Top 10 Things!

I just thought it might be fun to share Nicolina’s 10 favorite things. Below the picture is a list. These things make her very happy.

1. Pacifier:
This simple little plastic, rubber thing makes Nicci very happy and calm.

2. Pink Blanket:
Nicolina has always loved this blanket. It’s holy to her. She has slept with it since she was a newborn. She never lets it out of her sight. She cries and looks for it when I wash it. It used to be bright pink but now it is almost gray. It calms her down when she is sad or worried.

3. The book Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do you See?
This is her absolute favorite book. I probably read it about….let see…45 times every day. Sometimes when I get tired of reading it, I hide it from her under the couch so that she will bring me another book to read to her. Whoops.

4. Doll:
This is Nicolina’s doll named “Dolly.” She is actually nice to her doll most of the time. Sometimes I make noises and pretend that her doll is crying.  Nicci then brings her pacifier, makes a clicking sound with her mouth and puts her pacifier against the doll’s mouth. It’s very cute.

5. Stuffed Bear:
This is “Teddy.” Eric’s mom gave this bear to Nicolina and she loves it. Usually she puts both Dolly and Teddy in her stroller and pushes them around.

6. Stroller:
What a great thing. Nicolina puts all kinds of different things in her stroller and pushes them around.

7. Big Blue Ball:
Eric gave this ball to Nicolina. She loves all kinds of balls.

8. Lion:
Nicci loves to sit on her lion and have us push her around. She is so cute.

9. Eric’s cell phone:
Nicci is obsessed with anything electronic…she played so much with Eric’s cell phone that his speakers won’t work sometimes. She is a cutie though. She knows what a cell phone is for and puts it against her ear and talks into the phone.

10: Eric’s keys chain:
Nicci loves to play with all kinds of different keys. She sometimes walks up to the door, reaches up and tries to open it with the keys.

The Puyallup Fair!

Here are some pictures from the fair. We had a lot of fun!

Nicci got some yummy ice cream from daddy.

Eric and me!

So Excited!

So I found out yesterday that they opened two HM (Hennes & Mauritz) stores in Seattle. I love this store. They have very nice clothes for a good price. HM was established in Västerås, Sweden in 1947. So yes, it’s a Swedish clothing store.

I have told Eric that we need to go to Seattle sometime before the baby comes. I have a list of things I want to do. I want to go to the Cheese cake factory, Deseret Book, HM, and IKEA! Yeah, sounds like a fun trip!! Can’t wait to go!

Today we are going to the Puyallup Fair! I’m probably going to post some pictures later tonight!
